Flip your cans down, throw on your half mask, and get to work. When your lens is worn out, just slide the right and left side clips, pop the old lens out, replace with a new lens…two more clip slides and your back to working safely!.
The Grinder hood was also designed with versatility in mind. You can add a clip system to the hood which will allow for the addition of an outer lens. The outer lenes range in shade from 3 to 8 and when combined with the darker inner lenses, can get you up to a shade level 13 for light welding applications.

LOVE this hood!
"I won a grinder hood from Benchmark abrasives a while back. I've put it through SOOOO many of it's paces since then. Ya see. . . I'm a sign painter and Pinstriper (Pinstriping by Mouth), but also work on custom classic cars with my car club, The Cherry City Bombers car club. So I am constantly working on stuff that flings stuff into my face. Bench grinder/wire wheels, angle grinder with every imaginable disc on em, drills with a variety of thithat throw chaos towards my face, ad SOOOOO many other things! This helmet ha protected my face from SOOOOO many small and giant chunks of debris and broken cut off wheels. My hands may be a history of catostrophic failures, but my ugly mug isn't any uglier because of debris since I got this hood. I only have two pictures to include because I don't have folks here taking pictures of me working. One is the outside, which shows a filthy and scarred screen. The other on the inside which shows the seal being distorted because I smoke while I work. Ad I've melted parts f the inside from it. I should probably order a new visor and seal, but they still have a lot of life to em. I LOVE this hood. Definitely saved my life a few times. Get one!!!!"
