Banded Hearing Protection With Disposable/Replaceable Foam Pods

Banded hearing protectors are easy to use and extremely comfortable. They can be quickly inserted and removed, and when not in use, can be worn around the neck, making them ideal for intermittent use. When not in use they sit comfortably at the base of the neck so they are not in the way or easily lost. When you need them again grab the plastic band, roll the foam pods to the ear canal shape and reinsert.

Benchmark Abrasives banded hearing protection is extremely lightweight and apply very low pressure on the ear canal. The pod plugs seal the entrance of the ear canal without requiring deep insertion. When your foam pods are worn out you can easily replace them over and over, re-using the plastic band.

Safety Tips & Techniques:

• Cushions should be wiped clean after each use Cushions & foam pads should be washed in warm soapy water at least once a week It is recommended to check cushions and foam pads for damage as these may deteriorate with use Replace earmuffs as and when necessary.
• For optimum performance, the cups of the earmuff must completely cover your ears and should seal tightly against the head. Anything that interferes with the seal such as long hair, thick or poorly fitting spectacles, pencils, or caps will lessen the protection. Do not bend or reshape the headband as this will cause a loose fit and sound leakage.
• WARNING TO USER: This hearing protector helps to reduce exposure to hazardous noise and other loud sounds. Misuse or improper use of this device will reduce its effectiveness. The device must be properly selected, fitted and worn during exposures to harmful noise.
• Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection. Keep all guards in place on your machine.
