3" MINI FLAP DISC ZIRCONIA QUICK CHANGE DISCS

Benchmark Abrasives 3" mini flap disc zirconia quick change discs are built to deliver more cutting power and usable abrasive than a typical mini flap disc. Manufactured with premium European zirconia cloth, the abrasive features a uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients, while each disc packs 25–50% more abrasive material on each flap than competing flap discs. That gives you more abrasive available for aggressive stock removal, weld cleanup, deburring, rust removal, deflashing, and blending while the larger 3" diameter provides increased working coverage.

Zirconia's self-sharpening action continually exposes fresh cutting edges as the abrasive wears, helping maintain an aggressive cut under the heat and pressure common in metalworking. Combined with the overlapping flap construction, this delivers sustained grinding performance and efficient use of the abrasive throughout the disc's usable life. Zirconia also tolerates higher heat and pressure than aluminum oxide, making it a strong choice for demanding fabrication, repair, and production work.

These mini flap discs are produced on computer-controlled equipment and subjected to multiple quality and safety checks for consistent construction from disc to disc. The 3" T27 flat-face design provides controlled grinding on contours, edges, posts, gates, risers, automotive components, hardware, and other non-flat surfaces, while the Type R quick change attachment lets you switch abrasives quickly as the job progresses.
