3" CURVED QUICK CHANGE CERAMIC FLAP DISCS
Benchmark Abrasives 3" curved quick change ceramic flap discs combine high-performance ceramic grinding with a curved design built specifically for fillet welds, inside corners, tight radii, and other hard-to-reach areas. Manufactured with premium European ceramic cloth, the abrasive features a uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients designed for demanding metalworking. On stainless steel, carbon steel alloys, and exotic metals, these ceramic flap discs can outperform comparable zirconia flap discs by up to 50%.
The extended curved flaps let you work with both the face and curved edge of the disc, so you can grind and blend flat areas, then reach directly into weld seams, slag, inside corners, and radiused joints without switching abrasives. Self-sharpening ceramic grain continually exposes fresh cutting edges as it wears, helping maintain aggressive material removal throughout the usable life of the disc while handling the heat and pressure of demanding grinding applications.
Produced on computer-controlled equipment and subjected to multiple quality and safety tests, these 3" discs are built for consistent performance from disc to disc. The larger diameter provides more working coverage than the 2" version while still giving you the control needed around welds, contours, and fabricated parts, and the Type R quick change attachment keeps abrasive changes fast as the job moves from heavy grinding into blending and surface preparation.
