Benchmark Abrasives 3" x 1/16" x 3/8" T1 Premium Thin Cut-Off Wheels are built for fast, controlled metal cutting where access, precision, and a narrow cut matter. The compact 3" diameter reaches into tighter areas than larger cut-off wheels, while the 1/16" thickness helps produce clean cuts with less material removal than thicker wheels.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals across fabrication, welding, automotive, maintenance, and repair work. The flat Type 1 shape is engineered specifically for edge cutting, making it a dependable choice for trimming fasteners, cutting tubing, sectioning sheet metal, and handling everyday metal-cutting tasks.
The 3/8" arbor gives this wheel added versatility across compatible 3" cut-off tools and straight die grinders. It can be paired with the Benchmark Abrasives BM-M38_1 Cut-Off Wheel Mandrel, which is offered with 3/8" and 1/4" wheel-mounting options, for use on compatible straight die grinders—including the Benchmark Abrasives Straight Pneumatic Die Grinder—when the machine speed, guarding, and mounting configuration are appropriate for bonded cut-off wheel use.

This setup can be used with compatible straight die grinders, including the Benchmark Abrasives Straight Pneumatic Die Grinder, provided the complete assembly is operated within the wheel and accessory speed limits and with appropriate guarding.
