Benchmark Abrasives 4" x .040" x 5/8" T1 Premium Thin Cut-Off Wheels are built for fast, precise metal cutting with a thin profile that helps minimize material loss through the cut. The .040" thickness is ideal when you want a narrow kerf, quick cutting action, and clean control across fabrication, repair, and maintenance work.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. The 4" diameter provides more reach than smaller 2" and 3" cut-off wheels while remaining compact enough for controlled work on tubing, sheet metal, fasteners, and general metal fabrication.
With a 5/8" arbor and a maximum speed rating of 15,300 RPM, this wheel is designed for compatible 4" angle grinders equipped for Type 1 cut-off wheel use. The grinder must accept a 4" wheel, use the correct cut-off guard and mounting hardware, and operate within the wheel's rated speed.

Safety Tips
- Use this wheel for cutting only. Do not grind with the side of the wheel.
