Benchmark Abrasives Titanium Step Drill Bit 3/16"-7/8" (12 Steps) are ideal for making burr-free holes in aluminum, wood, copper, plastic, and sheet metal.  The Titanium Nitride coated Step Drill Bits are suitable for home light maintenance work and feature a two-flute spiral design that provides longer life and better chip removal and a self-centering split point to prevent wobbling. These drill bits are optimized for impact driver usage.

Step Drill Bits are the best bits that are used to drill a metal up to 1/4 of an inch thick. These step drill bits are designed to drill and ream holes through thin materials, such as sheet metal, to a specific diameter. The step drill bit can create holes in a range of sizes without requiring the user to swap out bits in the tool. It enlarges a hole as the bit drill through the sheet metal. Titanium Step Drill Bits increases the cutting speed with self-centering and prevents walking. It allows you to drill multiple-sized holes with one bit. Each step on these bits is larger in diameter.
