2" BRISTLE BRUSH – QUICK CHANGE DISC

Benchmark Abrasives 2" bristle brush quick change discs combine flexible abrasive bristles with aluminum oxide grain for controlled cleaning, coating removal, light deburring, blending, and surface conditioning on metal. The conformable bristle design reaches across irregular surfaces while removing rust, paint, oxidation, varnish, and surface contamination without the aggressive stock removal of a grinding disc.

The R-Type quick change connection makes disc changes fast and convenient when moving between cleaning and finishing steps. Choose from 50, 80, or 120 grit depending on the amount of material removal and the desired surface finish. A matching 2" R-Type quick change holder is required and sold separately.

Machine Compatibility

This disc requires a matching 2" R-Type quick change holder. The holder, disc, and machine must all be properly rated for the tool's maximum speed.

Compatible examples include:

• Benchmark Abrasives BMT-QC90_1 Right Angle Pneumatic Quick Change Sander — use with a matching 2" Type R backing pad rated for at least the sander's 15,000 RPM maximum.
• Milwaukee® 2485-20 M12 FUEL™ Right Angle Die Grinder — use with a matching 2" R-Type holder with a 1/4" shank rated for at least 24,500 RPM. Verify proper shank insertion and holder rating before use.

Do not assume compatibility based solely on spindle or collet size. Confirm that the machine permits the accessory diameter and type and that every component in the assembly is properly speed rated.

Safety Tips

• Do not exceed the 25,000 RPM maximum speed of the brush.
• Always follow the lowest RPM rating of the brush, holder, and power tool.
• Use only a properly sized and securely mounted 2" R-Type quick change holder.
• Inspect the brush and holder before each use. Do not use damaged, cracked, excessively worn, or improperly seated components.
• Use light, controlled pressure rather than forcing the brush into the workpiece.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses with side shields, a face shield when needed, hearing protection, gloves, and suitable respiratory protection when required.
• Keep machine guards and other required safety equipment in place.
• Secure the workpiece before beginning operation.
