RED JEWELERS ROUGE HIGH-GLOSS POLISHING COMPOUND - 1 POUND BAR
Bring out the final brilliance in gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals with our Benchmark Abrasives Red Jewelers Rouge High-Gloss Polishing Compound. Designed for the final coloring and polishing stage, this fine compound enhances brightness, clarity, and reflectivity after the surface has already been properly refined. It is the finishing compound to reach for when the heavy correction work is complete and the goal is a clean, highly polished appearance.
Red is the final step in our precious metals polishing system, following Blue Natural Luster Polishing Compound. Its fine polishing action is intended to develop the final color and shine rather than remove deep scratches or significant surface defects, making proper surface preparation and intermediate polishing especially important before moving to Red.
Clean, Easy-Handling Packaging: Each polishing compound bar is wrapped in a protective, easy-to-handle package designed to keep the compound off your hands and make application to the buffing wheel or felt polishing media cleaner and more controlled. A convenient peel-open zipper runs along the side of the package, allowing you to expose only the portion of the compound you need while leaving the rest of the bar covered and protected. As the bar wears down, simply peel the packaging back further. A color-coded bottom provides quick visual identification, making it easy to grab the correct compound when multiple cutting and finishing compounds are being used at the same workstation.
