The 4" diameter reaches deeper than smaller 2" and 3" wheels, while the 1/16" profile keeps the cut narrow and controlled for efficient cutting across a wide range of shop and field applications.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. They are an excellent choice for cutting tubing, pipe, sheet metal, fasteners, and fabricated assemblies where a compact cutting setup offers better access than larger angle-grinder wheels.
The 3/8" arbor expands the wheel's versatility beyond dedicated cut-off tools. Pair it with the Benchmark Abrasives BM-M38_1 Cut-Off Wheel Mandrel for use on compatible straight die grinders that operate within the wheel's 22,000 RPM maximum and meet the required mounting and guarding conditions.
