6" X .040" X 7/8" T1 HIGH PERFORMANCE 4X CERAMIC CUTTING WHEELS
Benchmark Abrasives 6" x .040" x 7/8" T1 high performance 4X ceramic cutting wheels are built for demanding metal-cutting applications where greater reach, a narrow kerf, and aggressive cutting performance are priorities. The ultra-thin .040" profile minimizes material removal through the cut, while the larger 6" diameter provides additional reach and cutting depth for heavier fabrication and production work.
Built with ceramic abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. They are a strong choice for tubing, pipe, sheet, structural components, fasteners, and fabricated assemblies where a larger wheel provides better access or cutting depth without moving to a thicker cut-off wheel.
The 7/8" arbor is designed for compatible 6" angle grinders equipped for Type 1 cut-off wheel use. Because wheel diameter, machine speed, guarding, and mounting all matter, use this wheel only on grinders specifically rated for 6" wheels and fitted with the proper cut-off guard, flanges, and mounting hardware.

Machine Compatibility
Designed for compatible 6" angle grinders that accept a 7/8" arbor Type 1 cut-off wheel and are specifically rated for 6" wheel capacity.

Do not install this wheel on a 4-1/2" or 5" grinder simply because the arbor fits. Always verify the grinder's approved wheel diameter, maximum RPM, flange configuration, mounting hardware, and Type 1 cut-off guard before operation.
Safety Tips
- Use this wheel for cutting only. Do not grind with the side of the wheel.
- Never exceed the wheel's 13,500 RPM maximum speed.
- Use only on machines specifically rated for 6" wheels.
- Always use the proper Type 1 cut-off wheel guard.
- Use the correct flanges and mounting hardware specified for the grinder.
- Inspect the wheel before use and do not operate cracked, chipped, damaged, or improperly stored wheels.
