The 6" diameter provides more working surface and reach than smaller grinding wheels, while the full 1/4" thickness delivers the wheel body needed for sustained grinding applications.

Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these Type 27 wheels are designed for grinding steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. The depressed-center profile provides practical working clearance for weld removal, surface cleanup, edge preparation, and material reduction across fabrication, maintenance, repair, and industrial applications.

With a 7/8" arbor and a maximum rating of 10,200 RPM, this wheel is designed for compatible 6" angle grinders equipped with the proper Type 27 grinding guard, flanges, and mounting hardware. The grinder must be specifically approved for a 6" bonded abrasive grinding wheel and operate within the wheel's rated speed.
