3" SURFACE CONDITIONING QUICK CHANGE DISCS - 25 PACK
Benchmark Abrasives 3" surface conditioning quick change discs combine flexible nonwoven abrasive material with the speed and convenience of a Type R quick-change attachment (Equivalent to 3M™ Roloc™ fastening system). Designed for cleaning, blending, light deburring, oxidation and rust removal, and finish refinement, the conformable construction follows contours and irregular surfaces while providing controlled abrasive action without the aggressive stock removal of a conventional coated abrasive disc.
Available in Coarse, Medium, and Fine grades, these aluminum oxide discs let you match the cutting action to the job—from stronger cleaning and surface preparation to finer blending and finishing. The larger 3" diameter provides more working surface than a 2" quick-change disc, making it a strong choice for broader localized areas while still maintaining the maneuverability and fast disc changes that make the Type R system useful.

Performance
The open nonwoven construction provides controlled cutting action while conforming to the shape of the workpiece. This makes the discs especially effective for cleaning, blending, and finishing irregular or contoured surfaces where maintaining control and preserving the underlying geometry are more important than aggressive material removal.
Choose Coarse for stronger cleaning and surface preparation, Medium for general-purpose blending and refinement, and Fine for lighter finishing work. Final surface appearance depends on the selected grade, starting surface, material, operating speed, pressure, and technique.
