Surface Preparation Wheels are abrasives made with silicon carbide grain and are designed for light finishes on metal, wood, composites, and satin finishing aluminum. These surface prep wheels are made with aluminum oxide grain and are perfect for cleaning, blending, and finishing stainless steel. They are designed specifically for right angle grinders and has a durable plastic backing so no backup pad is required. It is great for use on all metals - stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and alloys as well as, plastics and can be used to clean, polish, or blend a variety of metals including stainless steel. We have different sizes of surface prep wheels for polishing and paint removal on different parts and materials.
