Benchmark Abrasives 10" Half-Round File (Bastard Cut) features a circular design with teeth all the way around. They can be used to file circular openings or concave surfaces. The bastard cut of this round metal file means it has medium to large-sized teeth that provide a high coarseness for aggressive cutting and high stock removal. These round metal files are used for finishing or deburring concave surfaces, filing inside of pipes, and creating semicircular grooves.
Bastard cut files have coarse teeth for rapid material removal.
