2" MINI Quick Change FLAP Discs FOR ALUMINUM – 1 PIECE
Benchmark Abrasives 2-inch mini quick-change flap discs for aluminum are designed for fast grinding, weld blending, deburring, and surface preparation on aluminum and other soft, non-ferrous metals. The premium abrasive grain provides an aggressive, consistent cut, while the specialized stearate coating helps reduce loading, clogging, and material buildup.
Unlike conventional flap discs that can quickly gum up when used on aluminum, the stearate treatment liquefies slightly as heat develops during grinding. This creates a protective barrier across the abrasive flaps, helping prevent aluminum particles from sticking to the disc. The result is cleaner cutting, longer disc life, and less downtime replacing loaded abrasives.
The compact 2-inch diameter provides excellent control on smaller components, detailed fabrication work, and tight work areas. The quick-change attachment allows operators to replace discs in seconds without tools, making these mini flap discs ideal for fabrication shops, automotive applications, maintenance work, and production environments.
