Benchmark Abrasives 3" x 1/8" x 3/8" T1 Premium Cut-Off Wheels are built for heavier-duty metal cutting where a thicker wheel provides added support through the cut. The 3" diameter keeps the setup compact and maneuverable, while the 1/8" thickness gives this wheel a more substantial profile than the thinner .040" and 1/16" options in the same family.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. They are well suited for fabrication, welding, maintenance, automotive, and repair work where durability and controlled cutting are more important than achieving the narrowest possible kerf.
The 3/8" arbor gives this wheel excellent versatility across compatible 3" cut-off tools and straight die grinders. Pair it with the Benchmark Abrasives BM-M38_1 Cut-Off Wheel Mandrel for use with compatible straight die grinders, including the Benchmark Abrasives Straight Pneumatic Die Grinder, when the complete setup meets the required wheel, mandrel, speed, mounting, and guarding requirements.
