Benchmark Abrasives 4-1/2" x .040" x 7/8" T1 high performance 4X ceramic cutting wheels are the premium cutting option in our 4-1/2" bonded-abrasive lineup. The ultra-thin .040" profile is built for fast, controlled cuts with a narrow kerf, making these wheels an excellent choice for production fabrication, welding, maintenance, and repair work where cutting efficiency and precision matter.
The ceramic abrasive construction is designed for demanding metal-cutting applications on steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. Its flat Type 1 profile is made specifically for edge cutting, giving fabricators an aggressive cut-off wheel for tubing, pipe, sheet, fasteners, structural components, and general shop work without adding unnecessary wheel thickness.
Designed around the most common 4-1/2" angle grinder platform, these wheels use a 7/8" arbor and carry a 13,500 RPM maximum rating. Pair them with the Benchmark Abrasives 4-1/2" angle grinder for a complete Benchmark cutting setup using the proper Type 1 cut-off guard, flanges, and mounting configuration.

Safety Tips
- Use this wheel for cutting only. Do not grind with the side of the wheel.
- Never exceed the wheel's 13,500 RPM maximum speed.
