The ultra-thin .040" profile produces a narrow kerf with minimal material removal, while the Type 27 shape provides a depressed-center mounting profile for compatible cutting setups.

Built with ceramic abrasive grain, these wheels are designed for demanding cutting applications on steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. They are a strong choice for tubing, pipe, sheet metal, fasteners, fabricated assemblies, and production metalworking where cutting efficiency, control, and a premium abrasive construction are the priority.

Use the grinder manufacturer's cutting guard and flanges specified for this Type 27 wheel. Match wheel size, thickness and arbor, and keep the machine's maximum speed at or below the wheel rating. Other models may also be compatible when they meet the same wheel and setup requirements.
