4-1/2" X 7/8" T27 ZIRCONIA HIGH DENSITY FLAP DISC - 10 PACK
Built for demanding grinding jobs where standard flap discs can run out of usable abrasive too quickly, these 4-1/2" T27 Zirconia High Density Flap Discs use a thicker Jumbo construction with more flaps than a regular-density disc. The added abrasive volume gives fabricators more grinding material to work through while the self-sharpening zirconia grain continually exposes fresh cutting edges under the heat and pressure of metal grinding.
The flat T27 profile is especially well suited for shaped and non-flat workpieces such as fence posts, gates, risers, tubing, edges, and fabricated assemblies. Its overlapping flaps provide the flexibility and surface control needed to grind, blend, deburr, and progressively refine irregular workpieces without relying on a rigid grinding wheel.
Benchmark Abrasives High Density flap discs are manufactured on computer-controlled equipment for consistent flap placement and construction. The combination of a thicker Jumbo profile, increased flap count, durable zirconia grain, and a 10-pack format makes these discs a strong choice for fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and other users tackling repeated or higher-volume grinding work.

Because High Density/Jumbo flap discs are thicker than regular-density discs, always confirm that the grinder's guard, flanges, and mounting hardware provide proper clearance before use. The grinder's operating speed must not exceed the flap disc's 13,300 RPM maximum.
