4" CONVEX WOOD CARVING TUNGSTEN CARBIDE DISC

The 4" convex wood carving tungsten carbide disc is built for fast, aggressive rough shaping and controlled stock removal on compatible 4-1/2" to 5" angle grinders. Its broad 4" tungsten carbide cutting surface covers more area with each pass, making it especially effective for shaping large workpieces, hollowing bowls and cavities, contouring broad surfaces, sculpting, and removing heavy material where a narrow burr offers less surface coverage.

The structured carbide teeth provide a powerful cutting surface for early-stage forming, while the convex profile helps the disc follow curved surfaces and work into shallow recesses without sacrificing broad surface coverage. The 7/8" arbor hole fits the grinder’s compatible flange and clamping system. Designed for rough shaping rather than final finishing, this disc works on softwoods, hardwoods, foam, plastics, and drywall before transitioning to sanding or surface-finishing abrasives.
