Benchmark Abrasives 6" x .045" x 7/8" T1 premium thin cut-off wheels are built for fast, controlled metal cutting when greater reach and cutting depth are needed than smaller grinder wheels can provide. The thin .045" profile keeps the kerf narrow while the 6" diameter gives fabricators more usable wheel reach for larger tubing, pipe, structural components, and general metalworking.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. They deliver a practical combination of cutting depth, control, and thin-wheel performance for fabrication, welding, maintenance, automotive, and equipment repair applications.
With a 7/8" arbor and a 10,200 RPM maximum rating, this wheel is designed for compatible 6" angle grinders equipped for Type 1 cut-off wheel use. The grinder must be specifically rated for 6" wheels and use the correct cut-off guard, flanges, and mounting hardware.

Do not install this wheel on a smaller grinder simply because the arbor fits. Always verify wheel capacity, arbor size, maximum RPM, flange configuration, mounting hardware, and the correct Type 1 cut-off guard before operation.
