Choose a blade long enough to clear the shoe and workpiece throughout the full stroke, and stay within your saw's cutting capacity. Compact air saws with a different blade mount require their specified blades.

14 TPI Performance

A 14 TPI blade provides a strong balance between cutting speed and finish quality. The finer pitch keeps more teeth engaged with the workpiece than a 10 TPI blade, helping produce cleaner cuts while still maintaining an efficient cutting rate.

The 9" blade length provides additional reach for deeper cuts and applications where shorter blades may not provide enough access. Compared with 18 TPI or 24 TPI blades, the 14 TPI configuration is better suited to thicker material where increased chip clearance and a more aggressive cut are beneficial. For pipe and conduit, choose TPI by wall thickness and blade length by the full outside dimension.
