Benchmark Abrasives 9" x 5/64" x 7/8" T1 premium cut-off wheels are built for large-format metal cutting where extra wheel reach and cutting depth are essential. The 9" diameter gives fabricators substantially more reach than smaller angle-grinder wheels, while the 5/64" profile keeps the wheel relatively thin for controlled cutting through larger tubing, pipe, structural components, and fabricated assemblies.
Made with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these flat Type 1 wheels are designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, and other approved metals. The combination of a large wheel diameter and thin cutting profile makes them a strong choice for fabrication, welding, industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and other applications where a smaller cut-off wheel does not provide enough depth.
With a 7/8" arbor, this wheel is designed for compatible 9" angle grinders equipped for Type 1 cut-off wheel use. Because larger grinders vary significantly in speed, guarding, and mounting configuration, always verify that the machine is specifically approved for a 9" Type 1 wheel and operates within the wheel's 8,700 RPM maximum.

Designed for compatible 9" angle grinders that accept a 7/8" arbor Type 1 cut-off wheel and are specifically rated for 9" wheel capacity.

Do not install this wheel on a smaller grinder simply because the arbor fits. Always verify the grinder's approved wheel diameter, maximum RPM, Type 1 guard, flange configuration, and mounting hardware before operation.
