CUT, GRIND, FINISH - MIXED PACK FOR ALUMINUM - 16 PIECE
Cut, grind, and finish aluminum with one 16-piece assortment built specifically around the challenges of soft non-ferrous metals. This pack combines aluminum-specific cut-off wheels, grinding wheels, and high density flap discs so you can move from cutting material to heavy grinding and final blending without switching to abrasives designed primarily for steel.
The included T27 High Density flap discs use aluminum oxide abrasive with a no-load stearate coating that helps resist loading and gumming when grinding aluminum. You get three 36-grit discs for aggressive material removal and three 60-grit discs for grinding, blending, and surface preparation, while the high density/jumbo construction provides more flaps and a thicker working profile than regular-density flap discs.
Eight thin cut-off wheels and two 1/4" grinding wheels round out the pack for cutting and heavier stock removal on aluminum, copper, zinc alloys, magnesium, and other compatible soft non-ferrous metals. It is a convenient way to stock the core 4-1/2" abrasives needed for aluminum fabrication, repair, and maintenance in one package.

Choosing the Right Abrasive
Use the .040" cut-off wheels for cutting and separating aluminum and other compatible non-ferrous materials. Choose the 1/4" Type 27 grinding wheels when heavier grinding and stock removal are required.
For flap-disc work, use 36 grit for aggressive material removal and heavier weld cleanup. Use 60 grit for medium grinding, blending, and surface preparation.
Machine Compatibility
Designed for compatible 4-1/2" to 5" angle grinders using 7/8" bore accessories.
The applicable components can be used with the Benchmark Abrasives 4-1/2" corded angle grinder when properly mounted. Because the pack contains multiple abrasive-wheel types, always use the guard, flanges, and mounting hardware required for the specific accessory being installed.
Never exceed the individual accessory's marked maximum RPM or the grinder manufacturer's speed limitation. The maximum speed for this assortment is 13,300 RPM.
