Name:  David Cisneros

Business Name:  DNB Performance & Fabrication LLC

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Specialties:  Frame Notches
Tell us about yourself - what inspired you to get into your trade? And how long?
I grew up around family members that were mechanical and fabricational and just became part of my life and in a way out of necessity... I've been doing this for almost 18yrs but professionally for almost 10yrs

What keeps you motivated throughout the day?
The enjoyment of the customers when they see the end result and my daughter who sometimes comes out and helps me in the little way she can, mind you she is only 4 and a half
What is your favorite shop tool and why?
It would be my Everlast Mig-i200, it was the main income maker and best price when I started back in 2021

What's your favorite piece that you've worked on?
Building my coworkers front crossmember, because I had to design and fabricate a piece that was chopped off and missing prior and made it better than a previous shop that scammed him
If you could have any job as it relates to question 1 what would it be and what would you do with that?
It would have to be me being able to be in a custom fabrication shop from early on, because it's crazy and awesome how you take a random piece and make it into something unique

What BA product is your favorite and why?
It would have to be the 4½ flap disc, it has been the best ones I have used because they keep grinding even when I think they are almost done compared to others and I use them till almost hitting the arbor on the grinder and its easy on the pocket too
What BA product surprised you in terms of quality - what about it set it apart from the competition?
It would be the 4½ cut off disc that do not jam or chip off like others, they actually cut faster and last longer than most cut off wheels I have used

If there was one person you could collaborate with - who would it be and why?
I have collaborated with one of the performance shops here in vegas on a truck, but I am honestly open to anyone who is up for the impossible task and make things happen even if they are or not famous
Do you have any advice for the next generation that you wish you had when you first started?
Don't be afraid to think outside of the box and take that leap into failure to make successful moments in life so don't over think and or think twice on something you are really passionate about

What are your future plans for your shop?
Unfortunately I do not have a shop but I am planning on having one some day in the future

A Note From Leo
Thanks for sharing your story with us, David! Keep on grinding brother and eventually that shop will become a reality!
