Tell us about yourself - what inspired you to get into your trade? And how long?
I absolutely fell in love with old cars, especially Mustangs when my father would take me to car shows. My first car was a 1968 Mustang that I purchased 3 weeks before I turned 16, it pretty much became part of my identity and personality. While I was in High School I painted airplanes and knew that custom painting was the route I wanted to go. I fully restored my Mustang right after my senior year of High School and dialed in my skills with welding, bodywork, and mechanical. This was when I set my goal to build cars for a living. Long story short, I had quite the journey getting to where I am at, but every obstacle was worth it to do what I love every single day.

What keeps you motivated throughout the day?
I always tell people, the cars we build are what people "want", not what they "need". So I feel very honored to be trusted with these projects and helping people's dreams come true.
What is your favorite shop tool and why?
Definitely my Big Kid Blocks.

What's your favorite piece that you've worked on?
1965 Corvette
If you could have any job as it relates to question 1 what would it be and what would you do with that?
I have my dream job. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

What BA product is your favorite and why?
We really love the BA Flap Discs. My metal shop has them in multiple locations so they are easy to access since everyone uses them all the time.

What BA product surprised you in terms of quality - what about it set it apart from the competition?
Cut Off Wheels. They last longer than any others we have used, but better than that is they cut a precise fine line quickly which helps keep the heat down.

What tips and tricks do you have for us that might be different or eye opening for others to try with BA product?
I like to make sure that others know to always cut forward letting the wheel go away from you, instead of pulling the wheel towards you against the spin of the grinder which will make the discs last longer.
If there was one person you could collaborate with - who would it be and why?
Shayna Guy - @13thstreetcustoms. I love seeing more women get into this industry. She does amazing paint work and is very talented at her craft.

Do you have any advice for the next generation that you wish you had when you first started?
Never listen to anyone that tells you NO. Everyone told me NO when it came to wanting to follow my dream of building cars. They said it was a stupid idea, I can't make a living doing it, just do it on the weekends as a hobby, etc. Never give up on your dreams, your dreams are what will keep you fighting through all the hard times.
What are your future plans for your shop?
Continue perfecting my team and our builds. Building custom cars requires true artists and craftsmen. Never settling and always wanting to do better is what me and my team are striving for.
