Tell us about yourself - what inspired you to get into your trade? And how long? I needed a good trade hobby, past family members were blacksmiths. I'm active duty in the army and I've been making knives for 6 years.

What keeps you motivated throughout the day? Knowing the end result can be quite amazing, as well as reflecting on how far I've come in life. |
|
What is your favorite shop tool and why? That would be my coal press I finally got, that thing is a little workhorse. |

What's your favorite piece that you've worked on? A damascus pairing knife I made for my grandma back when all I had was a little forge, an anvil, and a will to learn. |
|
If you could have any job as it relates to question 1 what would it be and what would you do with that? Retire at 20 years from the military and just dedicate my time to offering blacksmithing classes for youth and veterans full-time. |
