Tell us about yourself - what inspired you to get into your trade? And how long?

I'm 39 years old, I have been married for 20 years this year. We have a lovely daughter. When I was younger, I used to watch Jesse James and I fell in love with metal fabrication. I started out building car's when I was 15 and my skills grew from there.

What keeps you motivated throughout the day?
My family, my friends, and the feeling of keeping my customers happy. I love what I do and am passionate about it.

What is your favorite shop tool and why?
CNC plasma table

What's your favorite piece that you've worked on?
Custom built 05 chevy silverado. I build the chassis

If you could have any job as it relates to question 1 what would it be and what would you do with that?
I'm interested in blacksmithing and enhancing my tools and/or building more tools so I do more and different types of fabrication

If there was one person you could collaborate with - who would it be and why?

Jesse James; he is an amazing fabricator motivated me to have the career I have now.

Do you have any advice for the next generation that you wish you had when you first started?

Take all the advice you can get from people who have done what you are wanting to learn. You will never stop learning, you can learn something new everyday. Never give up, always push forward, no matter how hard it gets. It's ok to get used tools and make all the tools you can to get practice.
